DELIVERY & SHIPPING
Pricing Basis: All quoted prices for Blackett Furniture products are EX-WORKS (EXW) from the designated QIAI FURNITURE factory in Longjiang. These prices explicitly exclude all costs and responsibilities related to transportation, insurance, logistics, customs clearance, and delivery from the factory gate onwards.

Customer’s Primary Responsibility: The CUSTOMER assumes full responsibility and all associated costs for arranging the collection, loading, international freight, customs formalities, insurance, final delivery, and installation of the goods. When the CUSTOMER manages the shipment, whether directly or through a appointed local agent in China, Blackett Furniture / QIAI FURNITURE GROUP HK Ltd. is entirely released from any liability for loss, damage, delay, or incidents occurring during or after transport or installation.

Optional Shipping Services: As a value-added service, the CUSTOMER may entrust Blackett Furniture to arrange comprehensive shipping and delivery. This service is priced separately on a case-by-case basis upon the CUSTOMER’s request. A formal quotation will be provided via a Pro-Forma Invoice, valid for 10 (ten) working days. Services may include door-to-door delivery to specific destinations, though personnel are limited to delivery at the curb or entrance and are not permitted to uncrate, install, or remove packaging.

Special Requests & Additional Services: Should the CUSTOMER request services beyond our standard arranged shipment (e.g., air freight, white-glove delivery, in-home installation, special handling), the CUSTOMER will be subject to all additional costs, which will be clearly communicated in advance.

Inspection & Claims Procedure: For all shipments, the receiver must inspect the goods with the carrier at the moment of delivery:

Visibly inspect all items for damage before signing the Proof of Delivery (POD).

Note any apparent damage or discrepancy on the carrier’s POD document before signing. For no visible damage, note “Subject to Verification.”

The CUSTOMER has a maximum of 2 (two) working days from delivery to report any concealed damage or issues to Blackett Furniture and the carrier in writing, accompanied by digital photographs of the damaged goods and their packaging. All original packaging must be retained until the claim is resolved.

A signed POD, without a damage notation, constitutes acceptance of the goods in good condition.

Liability & Ownership Transfer:

Blackett Furniture is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure events.

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the CUSTOMER once the goods are released to the freight carrier at our factory.

Claims for damage incurred during transit are the responsibility of the CUSTOMER to pursue with the freight carrier or insurer. Blackett Furniture will assist by providing pre-shipment photos as evidence of the goods’ condition prior to dispatch.

Refusal of a shipment does not relieve the CUSTOMER of payment obligations and will result in liability for all return shipping, storage costs, and potential forfeiture of deposit.

Documentation for Export: For international orders, Blackett Furniture reserves the right to charge a fee for the preparation of standard China export documentation. The CUSTOMER is solely responsible for providing all necessary instructions and documentation for import into the destination country in a timely manner.

Shipment Coordination: The CUSTOMER will be notified as their order nears completion to finalize shipping instructions. All goods are carefully packed and inspected prior to release for shipment.

We use only the finest high-quality leathers, predominantly sourced from Europe. Each hide is tanned in the Venice region, an area globally celebrated for its premium tanning methods. You may choose from full-grain, top-grain, or corrected grain leathers, finished with either aniline or protective semi-aniline dyes. For a sophisticated alternative, our selection of simulated leathers offers excellent durability and variety. All our leathers are available in an extensive color palette; please contact us if you do not see your desired shade.
Fabric: We partner with leading textile manufacturers to source the highest quality fabrics. These coverings are chosen for their superior comfort, enduring beauty, and proven durability. Available in a wide spectrum of colors, all our fabrics come from producers who share our dedication to eco-friendliness and sustainable practices.

Comfort & Support Padding
The foundation of comfort in our seating is high-density, cut-foam polyurethane padding. This premium material ensures resilient, long-lasting support.
